The house of Maja Vuleša (3 stars apartments) is situated in the street going from the boulevard to the Šunj-beach. Both apartments are on the top floor of this house. There is a 2 persons and a 3 persons apartment. From the windows in both apartments you can see the Lopud bay with the opposite island Šipan and in the back the island Mljet.On the roof is a large sun-terrace with the same great view. To both apartments belongs a shady terrace with seats in front of the apartments. The house is about 500 meters from the centre and shops and just 300 meters away from the boulevard and small beach.To the beach Šunj, a bay at the other side of the island is not yet a stroll of 1500 meters over the hill.
LOPUD ISLAND is famous for having the one of the best beaches in the Dubrovnik region.Šunj beach is certainly the best beach in the Elafiti Islands. It's composed of fine, white sand and is backed by lush, green hills. Naturally it gets busy on summer days when tour boats arrive and everyone in the region with a motorised vessel heads out there for a swim.The main settlement is the port of Lopud which has a number of cafes, restaurants and hotels, but inland there is little development--just luxuriant vegetation. Lopud island was once an important seafaring centre, boasting two monasteries, 30 churches and a number of noble palaces but little remains today.
